IWM-K632 contactless reader is a next generation device for high demanding access control systems. Key points are security, interoperability and evolutivity.
Interoperability : not only is IWM-K632 able to read serial numbers from virtually any 13.56MHz contactless card (standards ISO/IEC 14443 and 15693), but it is also able to fetch particular data from Mifare or advanced T=CL cards. Furthermore, thanks to its numerous output interfaces, and its fully configurable output format, IWM-K632 integrates itself in any access-control system.
Evolutivity : IWM-K632 configuration is made of 4 different sets, thus allowing different kind of cards to be used in the same time on the site. Furthermore, making it possible to rotate authentication keys periodically leads to improved security.
Security : IWM-K632 is the only reader in this range of price being able to communicate safely with NXP Desfire cards (DES or 3-DES ciphered communication). IWM-K632 is also able to verify a numeric signature (HMAC-MD5) and to diversicate authentication keys (Mifare and Desfire) for top-of-art security level.
