Bluetooth contactless & RFID reader

ProxRunner RFID scanner is a wireless RFID scanner. It is the counterpart of a barcode-scanner, in 13.56MHz RFID environment.

ProxRunner reads serial numbers from virtually any contactless smartcard, vicinity tag, RFID label or transponder operating at 13.56MHz (ISO/IEC 14443 and 15693 standards).
It is also able to fetch data from a memory card (Mifare, ICODE or other), or from a file in a T=CL smartcard. Reading from a Desfire card within a secure session (DES/3DES authentication and ciphering) is possible too.

Thanks to its Bluetooth standard connection, ProxRunner is compliant with virtually any host, PC, PDA, Mobile Phone, TabletPC, etc.

Versatile and easy configuration

Configuring ProxRunner (list of cards to be read, output format, ...) is done easily and in a secure manner, even on the field, thanks to « master cards ». The software and the configuration cards are the same for ProxRunner as for FunkyGate wall mounted reader and Prox'N'Roll RFID scanner.

ProxRunner's configuration supports up to 4 type of cards simultaneously, thus allowing to read heterogeneous badges or labels with a single reader.

Baracoda
ProxRunner has been developed in partnership with Baracoda.

SpringCard ProxRunner and Baracoda TagRunners share the same hardware platform and use the same middleware and SDK on the host side. ProxRunner is configurable through master cards in compliance with other SpringCard products, where TagRunners requires a little development on the host side for personalization.
