Smartcard interface
- 1 standard ISO ID-1 slot ("credit card"),
- Standard : ISO 7816 (1, 2, 3 and 4), T=0 and T=1 protocols,
- 5V or 3V smartcards (class A & AB),
- Card baudrate : up to 115kbps,
- Gemalto GemCore chipset.
Synchronous memory cards (S=8, S=9, S=10) can be supported through specific software development.
µSIM/SAM interface
Only on SC-CF06
- 1 micro SIM/SAM slot (ISO ID-000 format),
- Standard : ISO 7816 (3 and 4), T=0 and T=1 protocols,
- 5V or 3V smartcards (class A & AB),
- Card baudrate : up to 115kpbs,
- Gemalto GemCore chipset.
Integration in the PDA
- CompactFlash type I, usable with most handhelds,
- 3V power supply provided by the PDA itself,
- Supported OS : PocketPC 2002 and 2003 ; Windows Mobile 2003, 2005 and 2006,
- Plug & Play operation (SpringCard-CF is seen as a standard serial communication port, no driver to install),
- PC/SC-like SpringCard API, available in the developer's kit (SDK for SpringCard on PDA).
