SpringProx API and samples of application
The SpringProx API is a high level library dedicated to the host system. Provided in ANSI C code, it allows the development of applications handling the communication between the reader/writer and the card. It has been successfully implemented on various platforms such as : embedded Linux, Windows CE, Nucleus (ARM CPU) and different 16 or 32-bit microcontrollers...
The SpringProx API takes up less than 32kB of ROM and 1kB of RAM (except during the management of DES/3DES cryptography for DESFire cards). Moreover, if the memory occupation needs to be optimized, developers can easily delete useless functionalities, or even communicate at low level with the K531-TTL device if the high level functions dedicated to the host are not needed.
Sample applications in ANSI C code in the SDK
- Company ID cards creation*,
- Electronic purses creation* for private payment applications (coffee or vending machines, company restaurant, sport clubs...),
- Metropolitan transport networks ticketing application* : bus, subway, railway ...,
- Read & display of any card UID,
- Read & display of the memory content of Mifare, Desfire, e-Passports (ICAO LDS specifications without BAC), STSR176, Jewel.
* Target cards : NXP Desfire 4k v6, Mifare Classic 1k & 4k, Mifare Ultralight and Inseal JayCOS Appli 1.2
